Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that pi is a non-repeating number, ergo the combination of numbers 5-0-8 would theoretically appear in pi an infinite number of times.

I am ignoring the "even prime number" nonsense.

Actually, not to geek out, but a number can be irrational (non repeating and infinite) and not only two numbers…

If 508 really did appear an infinite number of time in pi, it would make pi a ‘normal’ number, and I would be famous.
