Ok, here goes. I know the content has gone way down here over the last month but as many of you know I got married last weekend (yay me!) and I was just swamped. But I do have a bunch of kick ass write ups on the docket. One from Whit and my tasting menu on our “mini moon” stay at the St. Regis. A notes from the kitchen going over the braising technique and a top shelf review of something called  Jungle Joose... Yeah wait for it!

 

I also have about 4 restaurants that I need to do a write up on and about 4 new albums. But I am going to get them all up in time. But for now check out this web site/magazine called “Edible.” It is a new publication dedicated to eating local and farm fresh cooking. (Link)

 

It is in Dallas and Fort Worth now but I have talked to someone close to the magazine and I am trying to start a dialog on getting it to Houston. Supporting your local farmers and ranchers is one of the most important things you can do for your community not to mention your body.
